Spay Neuter Coordinator


The HSMC Cat Spay Neuter Mobile Clinic is a new program with the mission of providing low cost,

judgement free, easy to navigate spay neuter to cats in our community.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
· Scheduling appointments
· Coordinate dates and safe locations for mobile set up
· Drive mobile unit to the location on surgery day and back to shelter after.
· Receiving payments, preparing receipts
· Assisting veterinary team on surgery day
· Checking in/out clients. Provide records for clients at discharge
· Cleaning/sanitizing instruments after surgery

3 years of prior veterinary or spay neuter clinic experience required.

Applicant must be flexible and able to make decisions quickly.

Applicant must have a flexible schedule as this is a new and growing program.

Applicant must have excellent customer service skills and excellent record keeping skills.

Applicants must have experience handling all types of cats with all temperaments.

Applicant must have a clean driving record and be at least 21 years old.

Rate of pay is negotiable and based on experience.

Expected hours: 20 per week

Licensed Veterinary Technician

The HSMC Cat Spay Neuter Mobile Clinic is hiring licensed veterinary technicians for our mobile cat clinic!

Must currently hold a valid LVT license in Virginia.


Must have experience with anesthesia and prepping cats for spay neuter surgeries.

Must be comfortable handling cats of all temperaments.

Clinics are held at different locations throughout Montgomery County and surrounding areas

Clinics are usually 6 hours. Schedule is flexible, you can work 1 clinic a month or 1 per week!


Rate of pay is negotiable and based on experience
