Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, we have a brand-new mobile cat spay neuter clinic.

Our goal is to provide much needed low cost spay neuter services to owned, community, and feral cats.  


Services Provided:

Cat Spay: $60.00 *includes pain medication

Cat Neuter: $50.00 *includes pain medication

Feral Cat Package: $40.00 *includes spay/neuter, rabies vaccine, pain medication, and required ear tip. All feral cats/kittens must be in a humane cat trap.

Rabies Vaccine: $10.00

FVRCP Vaccine: $15.00

Topical Flea Control: $20.00


FAQ


1.  How old does the cat have to be?

Cats must be at least 12 weeks old and weigh at least 3 pounds. Cats over 8 years of age are not good candidates for this program.


2. How do I apply/make an appointment?

Please fill out the spay neuter request form. You will be contacted by our spay neuter coordinator. Once contacted we will let you know where/when we will be in your area. Please be patient as we iron out the kinks in this brand new program!


3. How does the surgery day work? 

Cats will be dropped off between 7:30am-8am the day of surgery. Pick up time will be determined when the cats are dropped off, usually around 4pm.  ALL CATS/KITTENS MUST BE IN THEIR OWN CARRIER. (Hard plastic carriers are best.)  FERAL CATS/KITTENS MUST BE IN HUMANE CAT TRAPS- NO EXCEPTIONS. After their surgeries and vaccines are done, the cats will be given some time to recover from anesthesia before they go home. 


4. Why are ear tips required for feral cats?

Ear tips are the universal sign that a feral cat has been spayed/neutered. All cats/kittens in humane traps will be given an ear tip- No exceptions.


5. How do I pay?

 After you have submitted your information form, we will contact you to schedule an appointment. You can pay by card by clicking the "AFTER SPEAKING TO US, CLICK KERE TO PAY WITH CARD" button. Because we cannot refund/return any payment, please do not pay until after we have scheduled your appointment. 

Cash is also accepted the day of surgery at drop off.


6. Do you offer any financial assistance?

 Our goal is to spay and neuter as many cats as possible! We will do our best to work with you.


7. Will you have a set schedule of places you will be coming to?

Yes, once we have our program worked out we will have a set schedule of places we will be heading to. Pease be patient and know that we are working as quickly as possible to get to the places

that need us the most!


8. How many feral cats/kittens can I bring at a time?

We will work closely with you to make your trapping efforts as efficient as possible. We know it is almost impossible to know how many cats you are able to humanely trap on a given day.  Our spay neuter coordinator will work with you to accommodate as many cats trapped cats as possible.  We will not have a set limit on the number of trapped cats we will accept. We want to spay neuter as many feral cats as possible! Note- All cats - including feral- must have an appointment. Walk ups will not be accepted.


9. Who will do doing the surgery on my cat?

Surgeries will be done by a licensed veterinarian assisted by a licensed veterinary technician.


10. What if my cats need follow up care?

The HSMC Cat Spay Neuter Mobile Clinic so not offer ANY follow up care. This unit is not set up to hospitalize or preform any diagnostics. If your cat requires care after the surgery, you will be responsible to take your cat to a veterinary clinic or emergency hospital at your own expense.
