My name is Tango and I was adopted from HSMC in 2002 by my mom, Kristin. I was only 12 weeks old when I was adopted, but on the way home to Roanoke, my mom and I fell in love. We have been inseperable ever since! I have learned over 20 tricks including sit, shake, speak, play dead, high 5, 10, roll over, crawl, sit up, stand, dance, and many others! I actually won the Vinton Doggy Pageant in 2005 and 2006 for Best Trick and I plan on competing with my new little sister, Lily in 2007. My family had T shirts made that say "I love Tango". I feel pretty special when I see one of them wearing them! My favorite things to do are snuggle with my mom and dad, play with my little sis, and run in the back yard. We had a dog door put in so I can go outside whenever I want. It's great!  I also love to kiss anyone I can! Car rides are the best, especially to PetSmart ! I love to dress up in different outfits and look beautiful!  I am one lucky dog!

Dear HSMC,

          Thank you so much for introducing me to my best friend! Since adopting Tango, we have been through many changes together including 2 moves, me getting married, and adding another puppy to our family! Through all the chaos, Tango and I have remained "best girlfriends". I love her with all my heart and soul and can not imagine being without her. Thank you so much for everything that you do to help great dogs find great people! We are forever thankful!
