HSMC Special Announcements

The HSMC is committed to helping all animals whether in our shelter or in our community. There are many ways you can help us but right now we are in need of animal food. All types of dry adult dog and cat food, puppy and kitten food are needed. With the tough economic times we are all facing, it is heartbreaking to know that many animals are being abandoned or surrendered to an animal shelter because their owners cannot afford to feed them.

Donations of animal food are accepted during shelter hours:

Wednesday and Thursday 11-5

Friday and Saturday 11-6

Sunday 1-6

 or they can be dropped off at our Second Time Around Store at 107 Ellett Road in Blacksburg.
