Oreo

Hello,
Here
is a “happy ending” for you. I adopted Oreo from the humane society in
April. For a six year old, he is about the most wonderful playful kitty I could
ever imagine! I am attaching two pictures—don’t let the first one fool you,
he is still fat. Great things about Oreo:
-
He
is ready to play 24/7 (though not needy, perfectly capable of entertaining
himself),
-
Makes
cute little noises constantly, grunts when he jumps off the couch and lands
on the floor, trills when he is called and comes running over to visit,
little mewing noises when he washes himself.
-
Very
outgoing, mellow, always friendly. When he came home and I opened the crate,
he walked on out without any concern, gave my place the “once over” then
came to meet me more thoroughly. He is great therapy for Quiche, the
not-well-adjusted kitty (pretty vicious if I do say so) who my sister gave
to me—he just treats her like she is a normal kitty, even likes to stalk
her then jump out and say “boo!” when she ventures out! I think it is
good for her and will hopefully help to lessen her paranoia over time…
-
He
is great company.
Thanks
for taking such great care of Oreo—he was about as undamaged psychologically
as a kitty can be when coming from a shelter!
