Hello!  

Last September, I adopted Nellie – a Blue Heeler mix that was basically a big ball of fur when we first met. She has been doing great! She has grown 3 times as big as she was when I adopted her last year and is roughly the size of a full grown beagle. We think that she is a blue heeler/rat terrier mix. I love her to death and I can’t remember what life was like before she was in our family!   

She is full of energy all of the time. Her favorite past time is catch – with a ball or a frisbee (she is great at catching both – IN MIDAIR!). Nellie is just about the smartest dog ever; she knows how to sit, lay down, speak, give high fives, shake, dance, roll over, play dead…You name it – Nellie can do it! She is an awesome dog and very entertaining.  

I want to thank everyone at the animal shelter who assisted me in the adoption process. I know that many people were interested in her, but I truly feel like she ended up in the right place with our family. She found her forever home with me and the rest of the Skeeter family.
