Thank you so much for uniting us with Carrie. :) Our whole family just loves her to death. Ever since our last Australian Blue Heeler died of old age we have not been complete. I was so surprised and delighted to see a blue heeler in the shelter. My little sister Evelyn (age 12 and pictured) and Carrie are best friends. Carrie had some fears at first getting used to her new home and loud noises but she is coming along very nicely and now knows her name and usually comes on command (when she wants to). She still barks at the horses but I am sure she will make friends soon. She loves to run around in the yard for hours with her Labrador retriever neighbor friend Tucker. Carrie is also very good about following closely when we go on hikes in woods by our house. Hopefully soon she will get to be our new trail dog and come out with us horseback riding. She is also a wonderful little snuggle bunny and will even sleep under the covers with us!
